CaRVTA is committed to helping our members become leaders in the RVT field. CaRVTA memberships are available to all individuals involved in the veterinary and animal care professions, from California RVTs and industry providers to students enrolled in a California RVT program.

CaRVTA works hard to make sure our members' voices are heard in Sacramento, from representation at California's Veterinary Medical Board meetings, VMB committee meetings and the State legislature to member e-news and alerts. Your CaRVTA Board also works with the State government to promote legislation favorable to the RVT profession, such as adding an RVT to the VMB and granting title protection for RVTs.

We accept new membership applications and renewals at any time during the year—but all memberships and privleges expire December 31 of each calendar year. We are a 501(c)6 not-for-profit organization and dues may be tax deductible as a business expense.
