I have been in the field as a veterinary assistant since 2004, and have been a RVT since 10/2011. I am looking for a relief position Thursdays, Fridays, and some Sundays, in the greater Sacramento area, to fill out my week. I am an RVT with 18 years of vet clinic experience. I worked for most of my career in the veterinary clinic at Guide Dogs for the Blind where we took care of the health of dogs from conception to death. All of my skills as an RVT were utilized. In Monterey since 2009 I have worked as a surgical technician, as an ECC technician and recently for a short time in general practice. My main areas of interest are pain mgt and nursing care.
